The two individual awards that Claudia won could at least be a solace for the U-19 Indonesian Women’s National Team who finished fourth in the U-19 Women’s AFF Cup.

The U-19 Indonesian Women’s National Team failed to advance to the 2023 U-19 Women’s AFF Cup final after losing to Thailand with a score of 1-7 in the semifinal match at the Jakabaring Stadium, Palembang, Thursday (13/7).

In that match, it was difficult for Indonesia to keep up with Thailand’s game because they had to play with 10 people since the Indonesian women’s national team goalkeeper Fani was sent off after receiving a red card in the third minute.

The defeat made Indonesia fail to reach the final and had to play a third match against Myanmar.

However, in the match for third place, Indonesia lost to Myanmar with a score of 2-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at normal time, Saturday (15/7).
