India has recorded 7,633 new Covid-19 cases, taking the active cases in the country to 61,233. Maharashtra, one of the worst affected states, has reported 949 fresh cases, 912 recoveries, and 6 deaths in the last 24 hours. Delhi has recorded a 433% rise in active Covid-19 cases since March 30th, according to official data. As the number of cases continues to rise, questions are being raised about a free booster campaign.
