INDH / Ouarzazate: Budget programming for 2020 giving priority to social sectors

Ouarzazate – The budget programming for the year 2020 of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) at the level of the province of Ouarzazate is particularly characterized by the distinguished priority given to the health sector, drinking water and support for people in difficult situations.

According to data from the Social Action Division under the Province of Ouarzazate, the overall amount of credits programmed for the year 2020 and agreements signed during the same year amounts to DH 519,024,233.

The same source indicates that the projects adopted by the Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH) number 79, including 76 projects relating to programming and 3 programs relating to conventions.

They concern 17 municipalities, ie all the municipalities of the Province of Ouarzazate.

Regarding the program to reduce social and territorial disparities in rural areas for the year 2020, some 20 projects are programmed for an amount of 15,950,000 DH while 51 projects are programmed under the four programs of the 3rd phase of the INDH in the amount of 29,075,333 DH.

Some 05 projects are programmed under the program “Support for the implementation of INDH” amounting to DH 880,000.

The same source underlines that certain conventions signed in 2020 are of capital importance, including the convention on the Improvement and Strengthening of Health Services in the Province of Ouarzazate (444,183,900 DH) and the convention relating to the creation of a Regional Training Center in Inclusive Education Trades (12,000,000 DH).

It is also about the Convention relating to the realization of a multifunction social complex for the benefit of the children in situation of abandonment in the city of Ouarzazate (16,935,000 DH), of which the promoter of the project is the Moroccan League for Child Protection.

By consolidating its achievements and launching a new generation of income and job-generating initiatives, the third phase of the INDH refocused its programs on the development of human capital, the promotion of the condition of rising generations, support for categories in difficult situations in accordance with the Hautes Orientations Royales.
