In addition to showcasing its new product line at CES 2023Lenovo has also added its latest AI technology which allows gamers to get the best framerate.
The technology is called Lenovo LA AI chip this is the world’s first dedicated AI chip in a gaming laptop, built into a new laptop Legion Lenovo Pro 7 and 7i (16″, 8) and Lenovo Legion Pro 5 and 5i (16″, 8).

Lenovo AI Engine+ powered by the Lenovo LA AI chip is capable of applying machine learning software algorithms to fine-tune system performance. The chip also uses machine learning software in Lenovo Vantage, to help monitor FPS (frames per second) in games and dynamically adjust to produce maximum performance.
Offering up to 15% higher thermal design power (TDP), this combination of machine learning software enables Legion Pro Series laptops to deliver higher performance than the previous generation.
Lenovo Legion Pro 7i, Lenovo Legion Pro 5 and 5i laptops are also equipped with Tobii Horizon, a gearless head tracking software that can give gamers an immersive experience when playing their favorite games, also assisted by Tobii Aware .

The 16-inch Lenovo Legion Pro 7i and Lenovo Legion Pro 7 feature a choice of the latest 13th Generation Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and a choice of laptop GPUs up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 series.
For temperature stability, the cooling system uses ColdFront 5.0 technology with Hybrid Thermals, which also features a larger vapor chamber space and hybrid heat pipes.
With it the processor is kept cool by liquid metal infusion, which ensures no throttling, while hot air is expelled through large exhaust vents on the back and sides of the chassis for a total TDP of 235W .
The display sector uses PureSight Gaming Display technology with Lenovo’s fast and sharp 16:10 WQXGA 2560×1600 screen, which supports variable refresh rates up to 240Hz.
Meanwhile, the Super Rapid Charge battery option of up to 99.99Wh makes it the largest capacity allowed to be carried on an airplane, as well as Quick Charge for fast charging when gaming on the go. The whole is capped off by an all-metal chassis available in a choice of Onyx Grey.

These two laptops feature sleek and powerful designs, available with a choice of up to 13th Gen Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and laptop GPUs up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070.
The cooling technology utilizes ColdFront 5.0 technology which utilizes a large intake and exhaust system, dual fan system, phase change thermal compound, and hybrid heat pipes to expel more hot air through highly efficient exhaust ventilation.
Lenovo LA AI chip monitors CPU and GPU load to dynamically adjust and provide more optimal performance. The Lenovo LA1 chip can be configured via the Lenovo Vantage, providing full control over fans, overclocking, and other features needed to take full advantage of the 200W total TGP to beat the competition.
The screen is displayed on a 16-inch 16:10 WQXGA Lenovo PureSight Gaming Display with a variable refresh rate up to 240Hz, while the 4-zone Lenovo Legion Spectrum RGB TrueStrike keyboard offers a more immersive experience.
For a more minimalist look, the TrueStrike keyboard is also available with a white backlight. Lenovo Legion Pro 5 has an 80Wh Super Rapid Charge Pro battery to keep things moving in the classroom or on the go.
With a metal top and polymer bottom, this range of laptops is available in Onyx Gray or Abyss Blue color options.
