TEL AVIV, KOMPAS.TV – Israel’s Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, expressed his country’s readiness to go to war against Iran. Gantz called Iran a global and regional problem.
The situation of the two countries heated up after an attack drone against an Israeli tanker off the coast of Oman last week, killing two of its crew.
Israel told its allies there was strong evidence that Iran was behind the attack without providing clear details.

The United States (US) and Britain also blamed Iran for the attack.
Tehran later denied the allegations.
The situation became even more tense after Iran said it would respond decisively if any country wanted to attack its interests.
“Yes,” Gantz said when asked whether Israel intended to attack Iran Al-Jazeera, Thursday (5/8/2021).
“Iran is a global and regional threat, and a threat to Israel,” he said.
“We have to develop our capabilities in dealing with this on various fronts, for the sake of the future,” he said.
