The TBS Friday drama “Inappropriately Moderate!” (Friday 10:00), which starred actor Abe Sadao (53) and became the most talked about work in January, will be expanded by 15 minutes on the 29th. A human comedy with an original script written by Kankuro Kudo. Mr. Miyafuji, Abe, and Akira Isoyama, producers of “Ikebukuro West Gate Park” and “Kisarazu Cat’s Eye,” have teamed up for the first time in 19 years since “Tiger & Dragon.” The main character is Ichiro Ogawa, a physical education teacher from the Showa era who has traveled back in time from 1986 (Showa 61) to 2024 (Reiwa 6). His “inappropriate” words and actions give the people of Reiwa, who are bound by compliance, a hint to think about.

Each time, they make small jokes about the gap between the Showa and Reiwa eras, eliciting bursts of laughter, while also discussing social issues such as “diversity,” “work style reform,” “sexual harassment,” “read-through,” “lookism,” “infidelity,” and “classification.” Sublimate the theme into a musical scene. Mr. Miyafuji’s ambitious writing, which challenges the compliance society, is clear and has caused a great response on social media.

The final episode is “Do I have to update?” There is only one round trip left in the time machine operation. Ichiro heads to the Showa era with Nagisa Inujima (Riisa Naka)… And what fate awaits him and his beloved only daughter, Junko Ogawa (Yumi Kawai), nine years from 1986…

This challenge lasted about four months after starting in November last year. All of the unique “Futehodo members” greeted the end of filming with smiles on their faces, and expressed their gratitude to their co-stars and staff and their thoughts on this work.

Actress Yo Yoshida, who played the role of Sakae Kousaka, said at the time of the crank-up, “Thank you all for your help! It was fun! I said I’ll have “boobs” for the rest of my life, and I’ll probably be “Aiko Gibo” for the rest of my life. I think that’s what they’ll call me (lol). Thank you very much for giving me such an interesting role. I was happy to be able to work with such a pleasant group of people. I’ll do my best to work with you again!” Referring to the exchange in episode 2 (February 2nd), “Auntie Aiko Gibo?” (Junko) “It’s not Aiko Gibo! I never thought the day would come when I would scream, ‘It’s not Aiko Gibo!'” (Sakae) Comment on. She burst into laughter.
