I clearly declare that I will sign the decision this will provide. I am not interested in what will happen to me next, I am interested in what will happen to Armenia. ” He said.

According to Interfaxearlier, Pashinyan said that Armenia was ready to recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in the event of the withdrawal of the armed forces of this republic from Armenian territory, within the borders of the USSR.

“If they go out and stay on the borders of the USSR, then we will recognize it. No, then we will not recognize it. And it does not matter neither the military balance, nor the allies, or who is the strongest ally This is our political position, that won’t change, ”he said.

Many perceived this as a rejection of claims about Karabakh and began calling the prime minister a traitor.

Against the backdrop of the protests, the Armenian Prime Minister urged “not to succumb to the sabotage of external enemies”.

“Dear compatriots, I urge you, please, not to succumb to the manipulations. No document has been signed and has not been prepared for signature. This is information sabotage directed by external malevolent forces in order to break the resistance of the country”, wrote Pashinyan in Facebook.

Recall that on September 13 there was an acute deterioration of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Armenia and Azerbaijan accuse each other of new attacks.
