The fire broke out on the evening of March 21 in the agricultural town of Tulovo near Vitebsk, reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Rescuers were called after the fire was put out. When they arrived, they found only smoke in the entrance.
There were no adults in the apartment at the time of the fire, only an 8-year-old girl. It is reported that her mother was with her second child for a walk. When a short circuit occurred and a fire started, the girl could not leave the premises on her own.
When the mother and the baby returned home, she discovered a fire and took her daughter out into the fresh air. The father, who arrived at that time, immediately took the child to the hospital.
The fire is under investigation. The alleged cause of the fire is a short circuit of the charger due to a violation of the rules for operating electrical networks and electrical equipment.
