In Venezuela they claim to have deactivated explosives of alleged Colombian ‘narcos’

Soldiers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces of Venezuela (FANB) have reported that they have deactivated up to six explosive devices located on the border with Colombia and allegedly installed by alleged Colombian “narco-terrorists”.

The Venezuelan Army has detailed that the artifacts, grenade-type devices with shrapnel, were strategically placed as traps to block pedestrian traffic in the area of the Páez municipality, in the border state of Apure.

This has been confirmed in his profile on the social network Twitter by the strategic operational commander of the Army, Domingo Hernández Lárez. “FANB in the fight against the narco-terrorist invaders”, he has asserted.

The military high command has attached to said publication a series of images in which the military are observed deactivating the explosives and another of the artifacts themselves, presumably homemade.

This seizure is part of the operation ‘Bolivarian Shield 2022’, deployed in the area with a large contingent of military personnel from all military components, including the Bolivarian Militia, for the expulsion of Colombian narco-terrorists from the nation.
