Every pensioner has the right to recalculate his benefit if there is a reason to do so. We explain in what situations it is possible to apply to the ZUS for recalculation of the old-age pension.
To have a pension recalculated, you need to submit an application in this matter. It’s worth doing because we don’t take any risks. If the new conversion turns out to be less favorable than the previous one, ZUS will pay the old-age pension at the current rate, i.e. more favourable. It will not reduce the pensioner’s benefit.
All old-age pensions (early, granted at the general age, partial and transitional) can be recalculated. However, the teacher’s compensatory allowance is not recalculated in the event of being subject to insurance after the granting of this benefit.
