A husband was arrested by the police after a bottle of beer was found in the vagina in the body of his suicidal wife.

The police of Kilamba Kiaxi, Angola, is investigating a suspected suicide on Wednesday 9 September. According to an initial reconstruction of the events, the victim, Rose Bartolomeu Dos Santos, she would have hanged herself in the backyard. Her husband found her and alerted the police. Over the following hours, however, several doubts emerged about the dynamics of the incident, also because during the autopsy a bottle of beer was found inside the woman’s vagina. Investigators believe that it was her husband who introduced the bottle and that he may also be guilty of her death.

The suspicions of the man were born after the victim’s daughter, Neusa Lopes, accused her stepfather of choking her. The girl was aware of the man’s behavior towards her mother and knew that she was thinking of leaving him and moving home. Apparently her husband was a violent man both physically and verbally and in the last period he never missed an opportunity to attack her and make her feel bad.

Suicidal wife? The police suspect her husband staged it all

According to what emerged from the local media, the daughter would have confided her mother’s intention to leave her husband: “For four consecutive days my mother called me to let me know that her husband was physically and psychologically abusing her, even reaching death threats. On Monday she called me to tell me about her husband’s terrible behavior and I advised her to leave him ”.

In light of these accusations and the discovery of the bottle inside the woman’s body, the police arrested him as a suspected murderer of his wife. At the moment the man is in the station to be questioned. Further clues or evidence are awaited from the examinations that experts are carrying out on the victim’s body in these hours.
