Two streets in Vaitelei will be asphalted

Gardeners association “Vaiteliai” will soon undergo changes. Two streets will be asphalted – Miški and Akacijų avenues.

The section from the Gargždai–Kretinga road to Miški al. will be asphalted. until the intersection with Akacijų al., as well as Akacijų al. until the intersection with Gėlėi al. More than 1.8 kilometers in total.

UAB “Inkomsta & Co” won the announced tender and the repair work will be carried out. Their value is close to 785 thousand. euros. The gardeners themselves partly contribute to the implementation of this project with their own funds.

“I am happy that we are moving forward and more and more streets in the district are getting asphalt. Although there is still a lot of time left until 2025, in some districts the 5-year plan has already been implemented. We aim for changes to be seen in the entire district”, says Klaipėda district mayor Bronius Markauskas.

Rain nets will be built on Gälių street in Gargždais

March 27 Construction works of surface sewage networks will begin on Gėlių street in Gargždais. They will be implemented until July 28.

The construction of rain nets is planned to be carried out in 6 stages, during which traffic will be prohibited on the corresponding section of the street.

Works contractor – UAB “Gerbūvio služním centras”. The value of the contract is slightly more than 174 thousand. EUR with VAT.

Stages of execution of works:

• March 27 – April 14
• April 17 – May 5
• May 8-26
• May 29 – June 16
• June 19 – July 7
• July 10-28

Residents can constantly assess the quality of service in the Municipality

Are the working hours of the Municipality and councils convenient for residents? How long do you have to wait for admission? How is the quality of provided public services evaluated? In order to answer all these and other questions, in order to achieve better service quality and higher satisfaction with the services provided, residents were asked to fill out a special questionnaire.

We invite you to participate in the competition of children’s summer recreation programs in 2023!

The municipality of Klaipėda district invites applications for the competition of children’s summer recreation programs financed with budget funds. Program providers and executors can be education providers who have the right to carry out educational activities, regardless of their legal status and the institution implementing the rights and obligations of the owner and registered in the Register of Educational and Scientific Institutions (ŠMIR).

Programs must be submitted for the competition, which are expected to employ only students of general education schools of Klaipėda district municipality or other schools, whose declared place of residence is in the territory of Klaipėda district municipality. The content of the program is implemented in one shift. One shift is at least 5 calendar days. The duration of children’s employment per day is not less than 8 hours. The implementation of the program can be repeated several Shifts. Municipality partially funds only one camp shift, regardless of its type.
