“Increasing PSN carried out by cadres of larvae monitoring interpreters (Jumantik) to form independent Jumantik in every RT/RW,” said Achmad Salahudin in Jakarta, Monday.

Salahudin said that the seven sub-districts were prone to spread DBD are Cakung, Duren Sawit, Kramat Jati, Ciracas, Cipayung, Jatinegara and Pasar Rebo.

“Of course this is still a pandemic, PSN must be adjusted to the existing health protocols,” said Salahudin.

In addition to asking residents to form independent Jumantik in every house, he also asked every agency to routinely carry out PSN to prevent Aedes aegypti mosquitoes from breeding.

“Currently, seeing the conditions of the rainy season, the vector (aedes aegypti) that transmits it is starting to grow. Therefore, we must immediately anticipate for vector control,” said Suprono.
