sleep disorders are an almost everyday clinical picture and have profound socio-economic effects. The spectrum ranges from problems falling asleep or staying asleep, snoring and sleep-related breathing disorders to sleep-wake rhythm disorders. The Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases, Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery of the university hospital Wuerzburg (UKW) is dedicated to this topic on Wednesday, June 29th, with the second sleep medicine evening. The evening aims in the sleep medicine to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and cooperation between practice and clinic. A new interdisciplinary center for healthy sleep was founded at UKW for this purpose.
