One child 13 years old driving the Van that collided with another vehicle in Texaskilling nine people, including six members of a New Mexico university men’s and women’s golf team and a coach, among the victims was a young Mexicanreported the US National Transportation Safety Board.
The fierce head-on collision occurred in western Texasand also left two others hospitalized.

“The left front tire, which was a spare tire, had failed, resulting in the Van he pulled hard to the left and crossed into the oncoming lane,” Landsberg said.
“It was very clearly a high-speed head-on collision between two heavy vehicles,” he added.
According to Landsberg “On Tuesday March 15 at 8:17 pm an eight foot cargo trailer. A 2007 Dodge 2500 three-quarter ton truck traveling northbound on the freeway crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Van o 2017 11-passenger bus carrying an eight-foot cargo trailer. The bus was carrying the coach and eight members of the South West College men’s and women’s golf team. Tragically, the coach and six of the team members died at the crash site. Two team members were transported to Lubbock area hospitals in critical condition.”
The driver, a child just 13 years old and his co-pilot, a 38-year-old man, also died in the accident that occurred in Andrews County, Texas.
