In Sweden, life for people vaccinated against Covid-19 will return to normal after September 29, said Johann Carlson, director of the Swedish Public Health Agency, on Tuesday.

Sweden plans to lift restrictions on public events such as concerts and football matches in the fight against Covid-9 from September 29, Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hallengren said.

Restrictions on private activities and the recommendation to work from home will also be lifted.

Challenge said Covid-19 is currently suffering from a majority of unvaccinated people.

Carlson emphasized that unvaccinated people were still at risk of developing Covid-19 severely.

On Tuesday, 57 Covid-19 patients were treated in intensive care units in hospitals.

Approximately 82% of the population over the age of 16 in Sweden received a single dose of Covid-19 and 70% received both doses.
