In Seine-Saint-Denis, the mobilization against the new ferry has resumed

With the start of the school year, the mobilization against the E3C – the new baccalaureate tests in continuous control – has resumed in several establishments in Seine-Saint-Denis. At the Lycée Mozart du Blanc-Mesnil, “three quarters of the students did not compose”, according to a statement released by teachers who went on strike on Monday. “Which makes any claim to assert the good performance of the tests null and void”, they write.

In the establishment, the strike movement should be renewed this Tuesday. Other demonstrations also took place on Monday, according to the Twitter account “Stop E3C” which lists all the national mobilizations against the new ferry. Especially in front of the Feyder high school in Epinay where the tests were still held “in peace”, comments a parent.

The March 4 deadline

According to the FCPE parents’ association of Jean-Renoir de Bondy high school, strike notices were also filed in this establishment for the days of Monday and Tuesday, while E3Cs were to take place there. A general assembly bringing together parents and teachers – who demand the postponement of this session of tests – will be organized this Thursday.

What will happen to the students who did not compose? Contacted, the rectorate did not answer our questions. At the end of January, the rector of the academy of Créteil Daniel Auverlot had declared at a press conference that the copies of the E3Cs should be corrected before March 4, the commission for harmonization of grades starting on that date.
