The coach of the Kostroma sports club was arrested in January for close relationships with pupils who were under 16 at the time. He was sentenced to five and a half years in a severe regime.

The Sverdlovsk District Court of Kostroma sentenced the coach of the women’s soccer team to five and a half years in a strict-regulation colony for indecent acts against three girls under the age of 16 and sex with one of them. Speaking of which reported in the telegram channel of the court.
The defendant pleaded guilty in full, explaining that he spent a lot of time with the players, had an affair with one of the girls, was in love with her and also sympathized with the rest.
The coach was found guilty of offenses under Part 3 of Art. 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (commission of indecent acts without the use of violence against two or more persons under the age of 16) and in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 134 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16).
In addition to imprisonment, the coach is deprived of the right to carry out activities related to the education and training of persons under the age of 18 for five years.
RBC sent a request to the Sverdlovsk court of Kostroma.
In January, the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Kostroma region announced the arrest of a coach on charges of molesting underage athletes.
The Telegram channel “Mutko vs.” reported that three football players of the famous Kostroma club “Panthera”, aged 15-16, testified against the coach. According to them, they are in a very close relationship with him as of 2020.
