In Guerrero they await the sending of medicines for children with cancer

The Ministry of Health of Warrior continues to await the shipment of medications to care for 180 children with cancer at the State Cancer Institute in Acapulco, informed the head of the agency, Carlos de la Peña Pintos.

“We have been in contact and will arrive this week from abroad, although some may be missing, but most chemotherapy drugs will reach us.”

“We attend between 150 and 180 children, between five and 15 years, the number varies, but there is something very important before 20 to 50 children arrived, but in a year the number of cases increased,” the agency reported.

The state official explained that the information provided to them by the health sector authorities and the Ministry of Finance is to verify the medication and make the distribution to each of the states.
