A school bus from National Fengshan Commercial & Industrial Co., Ltd. passed Guangyuan Road in Fengshan District this morning, and the engine caught fire at the crossing of Wu Road. Fortunately, the student cleverly smelled the burning smell at the first time, and the driver immediately got out of the car to check, and the whole car was evacuated urgently, so no serious casualties occurred. After receiving the notification, the school immediately launched a response and sent another special car to pick up the students to the school.
Shi Qingfeng, head of Fengshan District, rushed to the scene immediately. He told reporters that at about 7:30 when the incident happened, the student told the driver that he smelled burning. The driver also stopped to check immediately and found thick smoke coming out of the engine. The driver immediately evacuated the 37 students on board. After everyone got out of the car, the engine also started to catch fire.
As the incident occurred near the Fengshan Sub-bureau and the fire brigade, fire trucks were dispatched immediately, and the fire was extinguished within a short period of time. Due to the heavy traffic at the scene of the incident, the police also maintained traffic order at the scene.
After receiving the notice, the school immediately launched a response and dispatched another special car to pick up the students to the school, and the instructors also showed up to care immediately. The school said that the car had a car inspection in February this year, and that it will strengthen the special car escape drill and the performance supervision of the special car in the future.
