More people in Lithuania were infected with the coronavirus in 2015; 27 dead

In Lithuania, infection with the new coronavir virus was confirmed in 2015, but the disease caused by the virus Covid-19 has claimed 27 lives, the Statistics Department said on Thursday.

Since the start of the pandemic, 450,421 people have been diagnosed with the new coronavirus in the country.

A total of 6,440 people have died in Lithuania with Covid-19.

1691 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated in hospitals, 148 of whom are in resuscitation.
