Virgin Galactic successfully completed a second test flight of its spacecraft on Thursday. The aircraft took off from the Virgin Galactic site in the US state of New Mexico.
The suborbital spacecraft called VSS Unity was brought to a height of 15,500 meters using a carrier aircraft, where it was uncoupled. Then it slid to Spaceport America. On board the VSS Unity were two pilots, Mark ‘Forger’ Stucky and Michael ‘Sooch’ Masucci, who carried out various test maneuvers.
The company released an impressive video of the test on YouTube on Friday.
