The Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) conducts procurement consolidation laptop domestic. A number of local brands are included in the criteria for the government procurement.

The criteria set are having a certificate of domestic component level (TKDN) of 25% and above. For chromebook laptops that meet the criteria, namely Acer, Axioo, Advan, Zyrex, Supertone, and Libera. Meanwhile, for office administration, namely Acer, Axioo and Zyrex.

Head of LKPP Abdullah Azwar Anas explained that this consolidation was the government’s effort to improve efficiency. Initially, the procurement of goods was separated even though they came from the same budget source.

“This is part of the government’s efforts to improve efficiency, which initially procured goods separately. Once separated, it is expensive, even though the source of money is the same,” he said at a press conference, Friday (29/7/2022).

With consolidation, the price laptop can be suppressed because more discounts are obtained. This not only benefits the government, but also producers.

“Once they are consolidated, it turns out that the discounts are many and cheap. And this is not only beneficial for the efficiency of the country, but also gives certainty to the industry because the umbrella contract will be given certainty that it will be purchased by us,” he explained.

Deputy for Tourism and Creative Economy Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenkomarves) Odo RM Manuhutu said the criteria laptop Included in government procurement are domestic products and brands.

“The criteria are domestic products and domestic brands, why are we doing this, no other country will promote its domestic brand or product other than its own nation,” he said.
