Asaja Cordoba has valued positively this Friday that the Junta de Andalucía is going to implement the mechanisms that allow the subsidies that are granted for contracting agricultural insurance can be paid at the time of contracting the policywhich will be done gradually.
The agrarian organization has highlighted in a note that this measure is a request that they carry out periodically and that, “finally, it seems that it is going to be a reality taking into account that formalizing this type of insurance policy is a guarantee to prevent the work and an entire year’s investment disappear as a consequence of adverse meteorological phenomena”.
From Asaja Córdoba they have stressed that agricultural insurance is “another tool in the farms that it offers security against the unexpected and that farmers should use in order to safeguard their investment”.
On the other hand, Asaja Córdoba has asked the Junta de Andalucía “to urge Enesa and Agroseguro to moderate the rise in premiums in the arable line and that it does not include the results of this campaign in the calculations of the yields assigned to farmers, since it has been an exceptionally adverse campaign”.
