Charli D’Amelio, dubbed the Queen of TikTok for having 99 million followers, is considering quitting. The 16-year-old woman has been called “cocky and rude” after she gagged in a YouTube video when a chef served her food. “A misunderstanding,” she calls it. But D’Amelio is also inundated with messages from people urging her to commit suicide. The American responded emotionally to those messages in a video on Instagram. “I am still human”, it sounds. “Just be nice.”
