After this weekend’s match between Dortmund and Hertha Berlin, the TV cameras captured a meeting between manager Lucien Favre and Erling Braut Haaland at the sidelines of the pitch.

The Swiss apparently teased the striker by asking if he had scored three goals. The Norwegian responded by holding up four fingers, while Favre pretended not to believe him.

Both grinned well at the situation, and a clip published on Dortmund’s channels shows that the joking exchange of words continued in the corridors of the Olympic Stadium after the match.

– Hi, trainer, I’m mad at you! Haaland shouts after Favre, while he smiles at the reporter.

The 20-year-old repeats the message once more, but receives a response to the indictment.

– Next match: Five goals, demands the manager with a twinkle in his eye.

This was the first time Haaland has scored four goals in the same match for Dortmund. He is number two on the Bundesliga top scorer list with 10 goals, just one behind Bayern Munich’s superstar, Robert Lewandowski.

– It’s a bit crazy, but we will drive on again in the next match against Club Brügge, says the Norwegian national team striker about the goal celebration.

Earlier the same day, Haaland received the “Golden Boy” award – an award that goes to Europe’s best young player, awarded by the Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport.

– When I received the message, it was free motivation for me, and I had to prove to some people that I am “Golden Boy”. I felt like I did that today, he says.

The atmosphere is obviously good between Favre and Haaland, and with a little more serious tone, the manager also took the time to pay tribute to his super striker.
