Arjen Lubach sat at the table with Beau van Erven Dorens yesterday to talk about something with cabaret, but at the end of the broadcast it was also about their upcoming TV war.
Beau van Erven Dorens can now lean back a bit, but after the turn of the year he suddenly has two new competitors: Arjen Lubach on NPO 1 and the men from VI on SBS 6. For Arjen is he the most scaredhe recently stated. Yesterday the comedian sat at the table with him.

Beau: “Arjen, you really are an omnivore. You are omnipresent on all sides. You’re also going to be back on TV with your late-night show.”
Arjen: “Yes, I think we will sit opposite each other.”
Beau: “Yes. What are you going to do?”
Arjen: “I’m going to make a daily satirical program.”
Beau: “Of the caliber you already did? But that was weekly.”
Arjen: “Yes, and then four times as much.”
Private life aside
Beau: “How do you do that?”
Arjen: “Yes, you have to cancel your private life first and you have to live in Hilversum, next to the studio. We are already practicing. I was going through the news at 6:45 this morning. Today we had a test day to see if we can do in a day what we normally did in a week. So far it’s going well, but I don’t know. Everything can still go wrong.”
“Until you get kicked off!”
Making a satirical program four days a week is not nothing. You must be funny every night. Beau: “How long are you going to do it? Are you really going to last for months?”
Arjen: “Until you get kicked off. haha. I think it’s now at ten weeks with some breaks in between. I think until mid-May.”
