Igor Tudor had left Hajduk Split to head for Juventus as an assistant Andrea Pirlo. Hajduk announced on the club’s official website.
“Igor Tudor is no longer coach of Hajduk after he decided to accept the offer of new Juventus coach, Andrea Pirlo, to join him in Italy as assistant professional staff,” Hajduk said.
“We wish Tudor all the best and success in his future career.”
Hajduk appointed Tudor as coach at the end of December 2019. There are 18 matches he played as Hajduk coach with nine wins, one draw and eight defeats.
This 42-year-old man, before working as a head coach, hone his knowledge with Antonio Conte at Juventus Center in 2012. After that, Tudor worked as a coach for Hajduk in 2013, PAOK in 2015, Karabukspor 2016, Galatasaray 2017, Udinese 2018 and 2019, and separated again. with Hajduk in 2020.
The role of Tudor will certainly be needed by Pirlo. The former Juventus midfielder, who has been appointed as a replacement for Maurizio Sarri, has no experience as a coach.
Juventus raised Pirlo like a gamble with only the confidence that it would be successful. Pirlo is also said to be going to the competition with Juventus by carrying out the mission of rejuvenating the team.
