The most famous Chinese curse, actually apocryphal and invented by British diplomats, goes like this: “May you live interesting times.” Unfortunately in Spain we already suffered that spell. Very interesting times, which smell of misrule. When the Catalan separatist leaders declared the brave an independent republic in 2017, the State managed to stop them for four reasons: 1.
