Iga Świątek won Roland Garros. She celebrated in a restaurant with her crew

Let us recall that 19-year-old Iga Świątek won on Saturday in a great style the French Open competition, one of the most prestigious Grand Slam tennis tournaments. In the final on the court in Paris, she defeated the American Sofia Kenin 6: 4, 6: 1. Thus, she became a person from Poland who won the Grand Slam title.

Iga Świątek celebrated her triumph in a restaurant together with a group of her closest relatives, incl. father Tomasz, trainer Piotr Sierzputowski and psychologist Daria Abramowicz (who celebrated her birthday on Saturday). The latter posted a photo of the entire team on social media.

The champion herself commented on the success on Twitter. “It’s hard to describe how special this day is for me. It’s so strange to achieve something that seemed so far away … But yes … It happened – I am the Grand Slam champion (cooo?).
