212 reunion which is planned to be carried out at the Horse Statue, Central Jakarta (Jakpus) has not yet received the green light from the police. PA 212 is still trying to make the reunion take place at the Horse Statue in early December.
“Until now, we are still trying to fulfill what is required by the Police, namely the recommendation from the COVID-19 Task Force, God willing, tomorrow, Monday we will have a meeting with the DKI Provincial Government in this case represented by administrative assistants and there is also a team from the COVID Task Force, “said the Chairperson of the 212 Reunion Committee, Eka Jaya to reporters, Saturday (11/27/2021).
Eka said that his party was still trying to fulfill the requirements to apply for a reunion to be submitted to the police. When 212 reunion still not getting the green light from the police, the committee plans to hold a peaceful protest.
“This means that we are still trying to fulfill the requirements from the Regional Police so that the permit will still be issued. If it doesn’t come out, the Polda won’t allow it, like it or not, we will change the concept into a peaceful action,” he explained.
The general chairman of the Community Lawyer and Champion of the Community Defense Organization (PEJABAT) said the peaceful demonstration would still be carried out at the Horse Statue, Central Jakarta. He said peaceful demonstrations would follow health protocols.
“It takes the form of demonstrations taking to the streets, peaceful demonstrations in the sense that we continue to carry out super peaceful actions with all forms of security, order, cleanliness, comfort, we will do everything even with health protocols,” he said.
“The location will still be at the Horse Statue, because it’s a symbol of alumni 212 reunion It’s Monas,” he continued.
