Doctors point out that when bed bugs bite a person, they inject a saliva that contains anesthesia, vasodilation and anti-coagulant functions to facilitate continuous blood sucking. Therefore, the bitten person may not feel pain or itching immediately, so bed bugs are easy to bite at the same time. Biting movements on an area of ​​skin, causing small, red, itchy bumps to appear in rows or clusters hours or days later on exposed areas of skin such as the face, neck, arms, back, and legs .

Chen Yucong explained that being bitten by bed bugs can cause allergic reactions of varying degrees. Fortunately, most people only experience mild discomfort and itching. A few people may experience severe redness, swelling and inflammation, or even severe allergic reactions. “If you suspect that there is a bug in your home, If bed bugs are infested, you can use a flashlight or magnifying glass to check the gaps in bedding or furniture to see if there is bed bug excrement and peeling skin, such as black or brown dots, empty shells or dander, which are left behind by bed bugs. Doctors share 7 ways to prevent and eliminate lice as follows:

1. Avoid buying second-hand furniture: especially fabric furniture such as mattresses and sofas. If you want to buy it, you need to check whether there are insects and lice, and use high-temperature cleaning or steam treatment.

2. Check for traces of bed bugs: Regularly check the cracks in the bedding and bedside to look for signs of bed bugs or their excrement; and after staying in a hotel while traveling, first check the room for traces of bed bugs (body, molting, worms, etc.) eggs), pay special attention to the bedside, dressing table, corners, etc., and make sure there are no bed bugs before unpacking.
