There is a belief where if The sun rises from the west, then the destruction of the Earth aka the apocalypse will occur. However, what exactly will happen when the Sun rises from the west?
This could have happened if the Earth rotated in the opposite direction and created enormous changes to the world. However, the probability is very small and NASA also gave a statement about this.
Bettina Inclan, who was then NASA’s Associate Administrator for Communications, revealed that her party had never issued such a prediction.

“Reversing the magnetic field is indeed a real phenomenon that has happened several times in the past and scientists around the world are studying it, but the statement that this makes the Earth rotate in the opposite direction makes the Sun rise from the west is wrong,” said Betina.
There is only one planet that is believed to have its sun rising from the west, that is Venus (although there are claims that Venus actually only rotates up and down). The planet Venus orbits the Sun for 243 days and 225 days. This is why the Sun on Venus only appears twice a year.
