On the banks of the Moselle near the Moulins-lès-Metz bridge
After cycling a few kilometers from Metz towards Nancy, on the blue route (or the Charles le Téméraire cycle route), this is an ideal place for a picnic. Near the Privé club, the Scy pond and the Saussaie tennis courts, there are a few tables and benches for those looking for calm.
On this place, dominated by trees, a ping-pong table is even available for amateurs. A panel provides some explanations on the history of the town of Moulins-lès-Metz. Garbage cans are installed to dispose of waste.

The setting could be even more idyllic. The incessant passage of cars driving over the Moulins-lès-Metz bridge causes a (slight) background noise. The solution: cross the building, whose cycle path has just been renovated, take the direction of Metz and pass under the portico. At the edge of this dirt road, accessible even by car, the banks of the Moselle offer some hidden corners. Here, the sound of insects is disturbed only by that of boats sailing on the water. It is not rare besides to cross some fishermen or amateurs of barbecue come to benefit from the framework.
