Ibracadabra magic

Milan

A pair of goals Zlatan Ibrahimovic help AC Milan to defeat Inter Milan. This also ended a four-year drought against the Nerazzurri.

Inter must recognize the greatness of AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina, at the Giuseppe Meazza, Saturday (17/10/2020). Ibrahimovic, who became a former Inter player, brought disaster to La Benemata after successfully contributing two goals.

Romelu Lukaku eased Inter’s embarrassment a little after reducing the defeat to 1-2. This result ended Milan’s drought of victory from Inter in the Italian League which had been running for four years. The last time three points were won was in February 2016.

Ibrahimovic had some problems before the duel against Inter. The 39-year-old striker tested positive for the Corona virus and had to be quarantined for about two weeks.

Ibra is not his name if he gives up on the situation. He regularly performs swab tests to be able to defend the Rossoneri in derby matches. The hard work of the player nicknamed Ibracadabra to recover paid off.

“Milan didn’t win the derby in four years, I was stuck at home for two weeks, so I was hungry and it shows,” Ibrahimovic told Sky Sport Italia.

“I lost my sense of taste a little bit, but I do swabs every three days and nothing will stop me from playing in the derby,” he continued.

“I’m disappointed that the penalty was saved, but the most important thing is the team won. I am the oldest in the squad, I feel a lot of responsibility and I like this feeling, because they are all following in my footsteps and hungry to win,” Ibrahimovic confirmed.

Ibrahimovic has been very fertile this season. Of the three matches passed in all competitions, he was able to score five goals. Evidence that being over did not undermine Ibrahimovic’s magic.
