In a recent face-to-face meeting, Závoda, for example, commented on an opponent’s clothing. “It’s not that I want to comment on his clothes. But when someone is wearing a t-shirt for twenty and a watch for five, it’s so weird. Unlike him, I don’t play anything. I don’t have to play millionaire,” he started the Race of himself and Cverna.
“You mean I’m playing millionaire? Dude, you poor bearded guy, shut it up,” retorted the 48-year-old veteran of the domestic scene, who lost only twice in the cage, one of his defeaters – Lukasz Brzeski – made it all the way to the UFC.

On a recent stream, Cverna also recalled his opponent’s not-so-good record. “I understand David because he has done more in the IAF, but I don’t understand it from the point of view that he had three professional fights and lost two. Moreover, the last one who should have won (with Fencle),” said Cverna even before Závoda signed up. And first a solid verbal exchange began, because both roosters first had to explain to each other who offended whom.

At the IAF 9 tournament, which starts on Saturday, August 16 from 18:00, the talented David Zoula, Matěj Val or Viktor Červinský will perform, among others.
