5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri told about himself crying because he defended President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Megawati said Jokowi continues to think about his people even until his body is thin.
Initially, Mega talked about her having visited Indonesia to remote areas where people rarely hear the name of the area. He also challenged Jokowi to do the same.
“I even said to the president ‘Father, let’s put a bet, have you been to Dobo?’ he hasn’t yet, so I’ll take the promise, Dobo is small in the Maluku Islands area, I’ve been to Tobelo, Jailolo,” Megawati said in a video broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube, Wednesday (18/8/2021).
Megawati visited remote areas when she led Indonesia. Megawati did this because as a leader, she had to come down to see the fate of her people.
Then, he also mentioned Jokowi’s thin body. Megawati is ready to defend Jokowi despite being bullied by many people.
“Like now, Mr. Jokowi, why do I cry? Why do I think about the people until they are thin, and I don’t accept you. Let me be bullied, I’m not afraid, I said I support Mr. Jokowi, I want to be bullied 1,000 times, I don’t scared,” he said.
Megawati Talks about Pancasila Ambassadors for Political Cadreization
Megawati spoke about the post-paskibraka who should be the best cadres of the nation who are Pancasilaists. He considered the post-paskibraka must be a shield.
“Because if you think that you will become the main national cadres who know very well what Pancasila means, which must be a shield rather than Pancasila, it is not only touted, but carried out, that’s why we from BPIP for post-paskibraka have become ambassadors for Pancasila,” he said.
