President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky reported that almost all EU countries supported disconnecting Russia from SWIFT.
He spoke about this during video messages February 26th. The head of the Ukrainian state also expressed the hope that Germany and Hungary would have the courage to support this decision.
“There is already almost complete support from the countries of the European Union to disconnect Russia from SWIFT. I hope that Germany and Hungary have the courage to support this decision. We have the courage to defend our homeland, to defend Europe,” Zelensky said.
