President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) speaking of the Palace which is always the scapegoat in political affairs. Jokowi worried that if there were any parties that failed in the coalition, the Palace would be to blame.
“What I fear is that later, if there is a failed coalition, the failed coalition will again be accused by the Palace. This is this Palace, this is this Palace,” Jokowi said at the Hanura Party Anniversary at JCC Senayan, Jakarta , Wednesday (21/12/2022).
Jokowi he admitted that he knew nothing about cross-party coalition affairs. Jokowi then launched a satire on the palace which is always blamed.
“Even if we don’t understand the coalitions between the parties, between the leaders of the parties who meet. But the most comfortable thing is to make the president, the palace, Jokowi a scapegoat, that’s the best. It’s the easiest and the most delicious,” Jokowi said.
Aside from that, Jokowi is also concerned that if there are any parties that don’t get a ticket to run in the presidential elections, he too will be blamed. Jokowi wonders why he always gets blamed.
“There will be more later, maybe, maybe, for the presidential election. Later it could be like this again, there are people or figures who really want to have a vehicle so they can run but can’t. Accuse the president again that he is involved, the Palace is involved, the great powers are involved “Join. What’s the matter with me” Jokowi said.
