PRAGUE Prask Mayor Zdenk Hib (Pirti) is not convinced that a parallel runway should be created on the Russian airfield. According to him, Prague is not able to accommodate more tourists, and on the contrary is struggling with the negative phenomena of so-called overtourism.

Recently, at the instigation of small cracks in the city council, the court annulled the demarcation of parallel lanes in the principles of land development of the Central Bohemian Region. In the dust of the principles, which the city must rub against changes in the earth’s surface, the runway is clogged, but with conditions.

He put a parallel runway to increase the capacity to fly and to 30 million passengers. However, Prague is not able to accommodate more tourists and, on the contrary, we must intensively address the negative effects of overtourism, such as unregulated Airbnb, rising housing prices, flooding public space with visual smog and the like, Hib said. He added that the investment of billions of billions would be appropriate to move more to high-speed rail.

The discussion on this darkness within the coalition, however, was not over, according to the mayor. In the past, the STAN movement, which is together with TOP 09 a group of koalin groups United for Prague, came out of disagreement with the construction. Krista Drpalov, the party’s spokesman, will also take a negative view of the construction in Prague Sob, which is thus part of the coalition’s master’s degree. Representatives of the party identified high-speed trains connected with selected European cities as an additional alternative.

According to the transport manager Adam Scheinherr (Prague Sob), more should be used to fly around. He added that in this sense, for example, flying in Pardubice is considered. The Prague 6 City Council has recently approved that before the discussion of the project, the runway requires a connection to be flown by rail to the city center or the first major restriction on air traffic.

Similar conditions for the construction of the runway are imposed by the crack of the Principles of Earth Development (ZR), which forms the ground filling documentation superimposed on the ground. Going over this document is the Land Development Policy R, which also includes the construction of the runway.

The Regional Court in Prague recently annulled the delimitation of parallel lanes in the principles of land development of the Central Bohemian Region on the application of the towns of Suchdol and Nebuice. According to the court, the region did not take into account some sources of noise and emissions. The project of building parallel tracks cannot be continued in the current state. The leadership of the region stated that against the decision under appeal to the Supreme Court. Changes in the city, along with other town halls and organizations, filed two similar complaints against the cracks in the ZR, which the courts rejected.

According to its reports, Prask fly is at the edge of its capacity, handling a record 17.8 million passengers last year. The construction of new parallel tracks according to the original plans was expected to take place in 2022 and took about three years. Its estimated price is nine billion crowns. According to the fly, more than three kilometers long parallel runway is primarily used for pistachios.
