VIVA – Low MPV car or Multi Purpose Vehicle become one of the largest contributors to national car sales. A number of manufacturers offer similar products with different specifications, designs and prices.
Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia become old players who enliven the segment. Born since 2003 ago, until now the car that can accommodate seven passengers has undergone several changes.
According to several sources cited Viva Automotive, Monday, October 25, 2021, the Avanza-Xenia changed completely in 2011, starting from the exterior, interior, and its features were upgraded to be more modern than the initial version.

In that year Toyota also first released Veloz, in order to spread its wings in presenting affordable family cars with more attractive designs, and powerful engines relying on 1,500cc gasoline.
While the Avanza was initially only offered a 1,300cc engine, in contrast to the Xenia which provided a choice of 1,000cc and 1,300cc three-cylinder engines. About the price of Low MPV Daihatsu is always sold cheaper than its sibling.
However, in the midst of intense competition, and the emergence of new products from various brands, only the Avanza Veloz survived to be the best-selling car in the country, or became the backbone of Toyota for approximately 18 years.
