After triumphing two years in a row in the Sónar festivalthe pianist and composer Carlos Viarnès and the visual artist Alba G. Corralwhich develops live images, bring to Mallorca the show Hyper_O. It will be this Friday, October 13, at Main Theater of Incawhere they will present their new collaboration around Viarnés’ album inspired by Gregorian music and in which the protagonist is an instrument called a hyperorgan.
On the island they will announce their creative sensory universewhich immerses the public and “invites us to reflect on the relativity of time and where the beauty of the uselessness of art is explored,” according to a press release.
Coder pioneer
Corral is considered a pioneer at the state level in the creation of images on stage with the system coder, that is, digitally live; and for years combines them with the atmospheric music of Viarnésas they have demonstrated at the festival euphonioushe Palace of Music Barcelonan and Sonar. Another result of their fruitful union is Collect the Virgin Rosesa video whose music was composed by the pianist from the images generated by the visual artist.
Hyper_O premieres on Friday within the framework of the Digital Days organized by the Teatre Principal d’Inca this October.
