Hundreds of reports to the insurer after severe weather

Several hundred reports of damage were received this morning by insurance company Interpolis, after last night’s storm in the south of the Netherlands.

In North Brabant, there were reports of flooded cellars, sewer flooding and other forms of flooding. There was mainly damage to homes in Tilburg and Rijen, among others. Shops were flooded at a shopping center in Tilburg.

In Valkenswaard a road turned into a river. And in Eindhoven, motorists got stuck at a viaduct. In the province of South Holland, residents of Dordrecht and Zwijndrecht in particular had problems.
