Hundreds of Dutch winter sports enthusiasts join the case against Tirol

Consumer organization VSV says that ski resorts in Tirol have been kept open despite the risks. According to the group, this means that holidaymakers who became infected there may be entitled to compensation.

People can sign up via the VSV website. That is currently being done en masse, says the organization.

The organization says that 5,380 former holidaymakers have already registered. Among them are 526 Dutch and 3680 Germans.

Police report

The Austrian authorities have also launched an investigation into the events in Ischgl. The police have already prepared an extensive and detailed report, says the Austrian Public Prosecutor’s Office.
