Deputy Chairman of DPD Gerindra DKI Syarif said he was surprised by the hundreds ASN Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta refused to follow office auction. According to Syarif, there is something unusual with hundreds of ASNs in DKI who do not want to participate in the job auction.
“I have not received valid information about this, and the information is confusing so it is difficult for me to comment. But I am quite surprised too,” said Syarif to reporters, Wednesday (19/5/2021).
“It is not unusual. Yes, the number is that much,” he added.
However, Syarif dismissed the issue that hundreds of DKI ASNs were reluctant to participate in the job auction because of the role of TGUPP. According to this legislator in Kebon Sirih, the selection of position auctions is carried out by an independent team.
“There is no problem with TGUPP. This selection is also carried out by an independent committee,” he said.
In order for the position auction to be followed by ASN DKI, Syarif suggested that a follow-up selection and a second batch should be carried out. According to Syarif, this step requires consultation with KASN.
“I suggest that a follow-up or a second wave can be made, but of course it must be consulted first with KASN,” he said.
Syarif then told the auction for the position of ASN DKI during the era of Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (BTP) alias Ahok. Syarif said that in the Ahok era, ASNs were required to participate in a position auction.
“In the era of BTP, it is mandatory and the scheme is used as a talent pool. Those who do not register will be grounded,” he said.
Syarif himself has been a member of the DKI DPRD since 2014. He then explained about the talent pool, which is the result of selection for positions from all echelons, especially echelon II and given rankings. If they meet the requirements, they will be appointed to the position, if they do not meet the requirements, they will be used as reserves. So that there is no repetition of the selection test.
