A huge fire left thousands without electricity in the capital’s Nadezhda district. The flames erupted after a short circuit at a substation in North Park. This was confirmed for NOVA by “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population” – Sofia.

They also reported that before the fire, there was a loud thunder. There was a large amount of transformer oil in the substation, which ignited easily.

Four teams of firefighters are on site.

Viewers of NOVA signaled that there is no electricity in the Obelya neighborhood.
