The Kids Corner feature is an interface specially designed for kids, which quickly adapts the app to suit kids. The HUAWEI MatePad lets children embrace all the benefits of a smart tablet with four basic modules: Recorder, Camera, Multimedia and Kids Painting without worrying parents.
With the Recorder module, children can learn and play by recording sounds. The Camera module can provide children with a safe environment to take pictures of nearby objects or people.
The Multimedia Module gives children access to entertainment with controls on what they have access that parents can set. The Kids Painting module allows children to be creative and explore digital art by drawing, sketching and painting on the HUAWEI MatePad.
The HUAWEI MatePad features edutainment (education and entertainment) content and supports a variety of parental control options to monitor children’s tablet usage. For the best user experience, Kids Corner on the HUAWEI MatePad comes with several new features, namely distance alerts, unrestricted apps, desktop customization, content management, automatic addition of apps and automatic settings.
The distance warning feature on the HUAWEI MatePad helps guide the child to maintain a proper eye and screen distance. If you are too close, the tablet will fade to black and white and then the screen will lock.
The unlimited application feature allows parents to set usage time limits for entertainment, multimedia and gaming applications, while educational applications can be used indefinitely. This feature helps children strike a good balance between gaming and learning.
Kids Corner also allows parents to customize the homepage according to their wishes or needs. With the desktop customization feature, parents can password lock certain features within Kids Corner, preventing their children from accessing age-inappropriate content.
The HUAWEI MatePad uses the Da Vinci NPU in the Kirin 810 chipset, the HUAWEI MatePad is powered by AI (Artificial Intelligence) computing power with smart audio to enhance children’s learning experience.
In addition, HUAWEI has made Petal Search Widget – Find Apps, this new search tool giving Huawei users access to a million applications that are currently easily downloadable on AppGallery.
