Keep it up with Hecking and Boldt – this is how it stood here last week. There are things that let you eat your own words in the short term.

After this mother of all humiliations everything has to be questioned at HSV.

Bosses, coaches – and first and foremost the players.

The appearance against Sandhausen was outrageous, ridiculous, insulting, there were completely different wording for it.

It was the very last chance game. One where you go full throttle, where the lawn burns, where missing talent is balanced with morality. As Werder did in the 6-1 win against Cologne.

The HSV, on the other hand, had a body language on the square like a dead fish in the Elbe. And not much more speed in the game. Like a goofy village kick after the end of the season.

Pressure? Fear? Then the players should switch to a club whose highest ambition is 13th in the 2nd league.

As the person in charge, coach Dieter Hecking has to be asked how one can send such a haphazard troop on the lawn while playing the games.

And after this disaster, bosses Jonas Boldt and Marcell Jansen have to check whether they have solutions to turn things around after the most embarrassing disgrace in club history.

Only one thing is clear: HSV cannot go on like this. Again …
