During his four-year stint on the bench of FC Barcelona (2008-2012), Pep Guardiola certainly led one of the best teams in the history of club blaugrana. Fourteen titles gleaned, including six from the 2008/2009 season. A list already worthy of the greatest for his first experience as a coach in a large club. But obviously this did not impress Hristo Stoitchkov, his former teammate at Barça in the 90s.
In comments reported by The Mirror, the 54-year-old Bulgarian did not attribute great merit to the technician, specifying that the latter had everything available to win. “Pep’s work was easy because he knew how the training system worked.
