Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Xiaomi is slashing prices for some of its HP products. One of them is the Redmi Note 11 which has decreased to IDR 2,399,000 from the previous IDR 2,599,000
On the other hand, the sub-brand of the Chinese giant, Poco, also presented the Poco M5s a few months ago at a price range of IDR 2,299,000. So, which one is better for Rp. 2 million HP? Check out the comparison below.
Chipset
Redmi Note 11 relies on Snapdragon 680 with a 6nm fabrication process. Meanwhile, the Poco M5s uses an older processor, namely the MediaTek Helio G95. The fabrication process is still 12nm.
Overall, the Snapdragon 680’s performance is fiercer than the MediaTek Helio G95. The CPU clock speed is 17% higher, with a more capable GPU frequency of around 34%.
Screen
Redmi Note 11 already uses an AMOLED panel with FHD + resolution. The screen measures 6.43 inches with a refresh rate of 90Hz, typical of mid-range phones. The brightness level is quite reliable, up to 1000nit maximum and 700nit in standard mode.
Poco M5s has the same screen specifications at a lower price. This should be appreciated, especially since the brightness level of the Poco M5s screen is higher with a maximum of 1100 nits. Poco M5s is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
Camera
Redmi Note 11 has 4 camera settings (quad camera), each 50MP (wide), 8MP (ultra-wide), and 2MP (macro), and 2MP (depth). On the front side there is a 13MP camera for selfies.
Meanwhile, the Poco M5s also has 4 cameras with more jumbo megapixels. Each has a resolution of 64MP, 8MP (ultra-wide), 2MP (macro), and 2MP (depth). The front camera relies on a 13MP resolution sensor.
Battery
Redmi Note 11 and Poco M5s both have a jumbo 5,000 mAh battery capacity with 33W fast charging. This feature is enough to sell for a cellphone priced at IDR 2 million.
Operating system
The Redmi Note 11 operating system by default still uses Android 11 with the MIUI 13 interface because it was made official earlier in January 2022. Meanwhile, the Poco M5s already uses Android 12 with MIUI 13.
